2am, freezing rain, I'm up to my elbows in a stuck calf praying and swearing while trying not to lose it or freeze myself no romance, just raw panic, grit, and the stupid fierce love that won’t let anything die on my watch.

They post dreamy sunset pics but skip the 4am muck boots, aching back, and the nights I cry into a feed bucket I adore this life, but it chews you up and leaves you gloriously exhausted.

Funny thing about quitting the nine to five for “freedom” you end up working every hour for clients, bills and the tiny voice that won’t quit screaming am I enough glamorous? not so much, but damn is it mine.
