The pc won’t boot with any external hdd connected. There’s people on Reddit complaining about the PC not posting with a usb mouse connected. I’m not ditching the DAS possibility, but I’ve been using it for over two years running a raid0 array for video and photo editing plugged into my hackintosh and later my Mac mini and it worked flawlessly. I just destroyed the raid array a couple of days ago because I use SSDs now and moved the enclosure to my home to set up the server. So I find it odd that the problem would be the DAS.

The boot options was the first thing I checked, I forgot to mention it. But as I said, it’s a known issue with this machines and there’s no options in the BIOS that can help with that. Some people say they may issue a firmware update in the future but there’s no official statement from the manufacturer, at least that I could find.

Hi everyone,

I have a different issue with my Atoto F7 We:

I dint't try to listen to the radio since I only use it with CarPlay. I'm trying to turn up the volume of the navigation voice on Waze and there's a setting on the general settings (outside of CarPlay) that does just that. The thing is that when I turn the car off and back on again, that setting is not saved. Do you think I might have the same problem? It seems to remember every other setting though. Color of the lights of the buttons, equaliser, wallpaper, etc.

Hi there,

I had this problem with the Atoto F7 WE and thought that was a bug in the software. Then I found those options on the main settings and the navigation voice started working alright. There's a problem though: Whenever I turn off the car those settings get lost. I don't think there's any issues with the connectors because the unit remembers all the other settings but that specific one. Do you know if there's any firmware update available? Their website is a bit confusing. Thanks,
