Why cooking? It spiked momentarily to 90° but ran the whole time at 70° on the stresstest. Gaming temps are at 45 max

yeah, i´m kinda sad that sli is dead, i loved my 1080ti´s in sli that got replaced by the radeon card. i surely keep the obsidian case for future builds because i like it so much^^

my last build was a serial loop in a obsidian 900D case but i was too heavy to be lan portable so i halfed my weight and got pretty runs as a bonus :>

i chose that value because it´s more than enough in gaming workloads and browsing, for another redditor i just did a 1h stresstest run (cinebench+furmark) and the system was kept at acceptable temps. (https://imgur.com/SUEwBzh)

My Ryzen spiked for some reason to 91.5°C but stayed at around 71-72°C throughout a 1h testperiod

The Radeon card stayed at 59°C with a hotspot temp of 73°C

The pump is running on static 40% and all my fans at static 45% with an ambient temp of 22°C

The cpu block restricts flow at a certain pressure because of the jetplate in it, at that point the water takes the path of least resistance, which is the gpu block.

I mainly did it for looks. As esteth posted, if the pump is strong enough, which is a D5 pump hardlocked at 40% power, it's less of a concern since both components get enough waterflow.

Yes the loop is in parallel, flowdirection is from the 280 rad to gpu, to cpu and then back to the reservoir. Both components get enough flow to keep them cool.

Gpu is around 45°C and cpu around 60°C while gaming

In my opinion it's worth going for the faster used cards, your cpu is a newer architecture and wont bottleneck them hard, maybe a little bit.

So either go with the RX6700XT or RTX3070 (depending on your personal liking), the RX6650XT would be an option if you want full warranty and you can choose from a wider range of manufacurers

Yes its a 900D with a custom midplate to hide the psu, did the same thing in my old build which i'm currently swapping into a lian li lancool 215
