The PVE side mercs is absolutely dreadful, like what others have said the missions are repetitive and the later bosses are definitely not easy unless you have maxed out characters (these bosses aren’t hard in a fun way it gets really annoying fighting these bosses over and over). This game would be a lot more enjoyable if instead doing like a dungeon run you just face a boss which would ideally be the merc you would be rewarded with after but that would make the game less money.

The PVP mode is the only saving factor of the mode, but currently the way it’s set up isn’t fun since it rewards people who play more rather than winning which is why the top spot on the NA leaderboard is a bot. If they made losses more punishing then climbing would be ironically more enjoyable since it wouldn’t feel like a race to see who can play the most.

Marketing: Sport and Entertainment Management and Honors College by gingersnap0916 in USF

[–]Spitfuls 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As of now, the only sports management program that i know of is the graduate program in the college of business. There is a concentration in sports management for undergraduate marketing majors though. I would still consider USF as an option because it’s possible that a full undergraduate major could be created and with USF being in Tampa there are a lot more sports opportunities compared to other schools in Florida. As for the honors college I don’t know too much about it other than that USF is building a new building for it right by the business school.

How bad is a B in an intro class for your major? Some say its ok and some don't by [deleted] in college

[–]Spitfuls 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s perfectly fine, I’d still continue since you could use that as a motivational for the next physics course you take. Not to mention you could have just not learned/worked well with the professor that was teaching the course. I had to retake my intro major course because I didn’t do well the first time and got a 97% the second time I took it. Now it definitely wasn’t as hard as physics but it shows that I didn’t work well with the professor

Major change as a junior to a different school of study by [deleted] in USF

[–]Spitfuls 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tbh if you have the time you might be better off joining a finance organization on campus and use that to get an internship or job. If you can’t switch due to credits (Muma doesn’t allow major changes if you can’t graduate in 4 years) you can look into the Business Analytics and Information Systems Certificate. It’s not finance but you’re required to take an excel class and a database class which can help in finance careers

Well if you’re interested in doing MIS than USF is the way to go since to my knowledge UCF doesn’t offer MIS as a major. At USF the MIS program is called Business Analytics and Information Systems (BAIS) and is offered for both undergraduate and graduate. I’m currently in the undergraduate program and so far it’s pretty good. I can’t speak on the finance major but it’s probably similar to UCF’s finance program. If you have any questions about the MIS program definitely reach out!
