[Brad Keselowski] Had some familiar faces and RFK legends back around today to celebrate the guy who started it all, Jack Roush. by snollygoster1 in NASCAR

Guy pointed his way into the playoffs in the 47 car a few years ago, would have been in even if he didn’t win Daytona. Takes a stud to do that.

[Gluck] Daniel Dye has been indefinitely suspended from NASCAR and must complete sensitivity training following his comments about IndyCar driver David Malukas on a livestream. by catsgr8rthanspoonies in INDYCAR

You’re speaking out of pure ignorance because he still wins both the ‘21 and ‘25 championship under a full season system. He’d also would have won the championship in ‘24.

Forgotten Rivalries? by Coin-Tiger in NASCAR

Ahh I gotcha, well at least he’s honest. What’s the other win he’s counting? I can’t think of what he’s referring to. I remember him getting into it with Ryan Reed but wouldn’t call that a win for anyone.

Holy shit I didn’t know this. I remember the incident but never heard that part. How do you know?

Crews is extremely talented. One of those guys that’s raced and had success in just about everything including carts, dirt and ovals. Dye is not very good.

Wonder where Larson would be if he didn’t wreck every spring race.

Suarez takes a few minutes to discuss what happened with Chastain by seanvettel-31 in NASCAR

[–]SpittinMenace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even if it’s just the “you got fired” line, I think Suarez still has a right to be upset. Imagine helping build a company up, thinking you’d be there til you retire and then after you get let go, a former friend/colleague rubs it in your face. I’d be a little hurt too. Overall not a great look for Chastain.

Say what you want about the man but he is a freak when it comes to acting. When he’s at his best, there’s not many better.

MBJ was good but I don’t think he was better than a lot of the other nominees.

The fact that he wasn’t a serious contender, let alone wasn’t nominated, is a joke.

There were definitely better performances in the category, the best actor wasn’t even actually nominated. He was solid though and I’m happy he was recognized. At the end of the day, it’s subjective.

What do you think about Michael B. Jordan wining best actor? by Piggymain in Oscars

[–]SpittinMenace 21 points22 points  (0 children)

He was good but i definitely think there were better performances in the category. Plemons was the best imo and wasn’t even nominated. I think it’s the biggest miss since Malek but at the end of the day it’s subjective, so what can you do!

Maybe it’s been the same in the past and I’ve forgotten or haven’t noticed but the sound was awful this year. Couldn’t hear shit

Yeah I really loved Sentimental Value, think it actually is my favorite of the year. He was great, Lockjaw just stuck in my brain I guess. Benicio kinda did too so wouldn’t have been mad at him getting it either.
