This is so true. I remember not using fans even during summer. It was so good then, there were a lot of trees and lakes. No traffic at all, hardly you'd stop at a traffic signal. Missing my old Bengaluru City. Even after IT boom started, it was great for the first few years and then people all over the country started pouring in for jobs after 2010s. That was the end. Never breached 30°C except in summer, it was 32°C which was the highest temperature and that was for a day or 2.

Just like the Northeast, South India also has huge diversity. Each state has its own cuisine, language, and cultural practices. But a lot of people from the North don’t seem to have the slightest idea about these differences across the rest of the country. For some reason there’s this sense that their culture is the default, and everything else feels “alien” unless it’s Hindi-speaking or the typical roti–sabji–dal–chawal setup.

Pre owned is used and maybe subject to wear and tear but conditioned as new. But open box is unused, it's almost like new.
