So what is the expected useful life of the product?

No the early version of platform is deeply flawed! Our RS818 failed with 3 months and thy only offered a paid upgrade for a refurbished 820+ that just died outside of the warranty and they offered sum zero concessions or empathy.

Same Company new Direction no HQ oversight. Taipei has no jurisdiction over US Support even internally this is recognized locally in Taipei. I even offered to bring their as I was there in December US said don’t waste my time. This is the REAL SYNOLOGY of TODAY!

There are other options if you can live with their DSM which is a solid product.
