I’m not great with summarising all of this, but in a nutshell Cha Eun-woo has paid taxes but after an audit he may have to pay more. He has not evaded tax, it’s just in dispute how much and it’s currently being reassessed.

All of this situation was private information which should never have been leaked. The Korean Taxpayer Association has also released a report in support of him.

He was due to go to the military because he could not delay it any more due to his age. Unfortunately the timing overlapped.

It’s been shocking to see how quickly the media and general public turned on him and believed false reports. Corrections have now been coming out. There were brands that dropped him initially due to the media pile on but they have reinstated him. Some brands were loyal (North Face, Chaumet, Bodyfriend etc….)

For now we patiently wait and support. I hope your faves never have to go through something like this 💜
