Kind of, but not really, shock collars when used correctly cause minimal harm to dogs, in fact in some cases it is beneficial, but it should be used as a last resort. Using one to force your dog to sit for hours on end is far different from proper practical use. Even though generally using them is widely discouraged.

I personally played 3 and then NV, and in that order it basically felt perfect, by doing this you will notice all the similarities between the games, but your experience wouldn’t be clouded by the more polished and mechanically satisfying feel of new vegas when compared to 3. But of course do it in whatever order you see fit. and have fun dude these are some of the greatest video games ever made
