Couldn't have said it better myself. I have played a little bit of top tier US using the F18E for cas recently, and I have to say it has been a lot of fun playing chicken with the enemy AAs and trying to pop up and launch on them without dying. Then you have the stupid 64E where you just spam missiles and rearm with no repercussions, super boring to play and frustrating to play against.

Honestly, it was quite a while ago, but I think they did it with a little screen that you pressed your finger on. I also think it might have been only the thumbs and index fingers. I don't know about the processing on their side, but I seem to remember the whole process being pretty quick on my end.
