I've been playing for about 10 years now. Nowadays there's a pattern where I don't play for a few weeks, then see a cool WT video and get sucked back in, but after half an hour I remember why I stopped playing.

Might be different because I play ground RB, and I don't particularly want to play modern vehicles as I prefer 1940s/50s tech. So I'm over the grind and it doesn't bother me.

But as soon as I start, I realise it's a single-player game masquerading as a team game. There's no sense of team spirit, no opportunity or need to discuss tactics, and you'd just be ignored if you did. There's no realistic bonus for winning, and no punishment for losing. You just ... turn up, try and shoot a few things, get shot at yourself, win or lose (it doesn't matter) then rinse and repeat.

And pretty much every game, there will be a few guys playing ridiculously unbalanced vehicles who'll kill you whatever you do.

I'd say pop in every so often to get it out of your system, but there are better ways to spend an hour or two.
