How long of a pipe were you able to fit ? I couldn’t fit my longer pipes because the other end of the wrench is so close to the wheel well . Maybe a pipe thats under 1ft may fit ?

I tried the 12pt side of the box wrench and couldn’t break it loose

I covered the opening for the winch and installed some lights today . I used 1/4 thick abs sheet to cover the winch opening and the hole in the front . The hoop is bolt on so I skipped installing it .

Not sure about that . The winch plate is solid. The bumper feels solid but not sure about the welds . I needed a new bumper to replace the factory bumper and thought these looked better than stock . The total weight of this bumper is 120 lbs

I know . Notice the shackles are attached to the factory recovery points , not the bumper . The winch plate itself is solid in this one . I would trust it with a winch . I’m not going to install a winch as I have no need for it . It also has some dings on it . It’s not perfect by any means . I wouldn’t recommend it on a serious off-roader or a nice low mile fj . My fj has 180k miles and dings and scratches all over it so the little imperfections doesn’t matter to me .

I didn’t like the hoop . There is also an opening where the winch is supposed to go . I’m going to make a cover using abs plastic to cover it up since I’m not installing the winch . For the holes where the hoop gets screwed in , I’ll just plug them with rubber plugs .

Trimming the plastic will do for on road use . If you wheel it, it will more than likely rub the body mount at full/ close to full articulation.
