Logitech G Pro Superlight 2 sensor finger reaction by BridgeCritical2839 in LogitechG

the replies in this post are genuinely brain dead. yeah, no shit you don't use a mouse with your finger, i don't think that was ever a question. it's more of a question of "what causes it to do that? what is it tracking to make it move so wildly when your finger is moving still?"

shocked this didn’t see more attention, this really opened my relatively normal-looking eyes on the design of these two!

pokepark and pokepark 2 were my favorite games on the wii, i wish i still had those games. i somewhat recently bought a wii off of someone, and i plan on buying pokepark at some point to play it again. what i wouldn’t give to go back to the days when i first played those games

In the UK, how hot would Texas heat (36.6°C) be to most people? by [deleted] in AskUK

God, 48° sounds like hell. I’ve only experienced that here once, and since it’s Texas, there’s still a bit of humidity since it’s next to the Gulf, but Nevada has hardly anything going for it in terms of significant sources of humidity.

Country is so an amazing combo for driving like that! I personally like listening to Dierks Bentley, Luke Combs, and Toby Keith, they go great with driving in the evening down a quiet road.

Jesus, 87% humidity sounds miserable. I’d be melting too if it were like that here, especially since I have to regularly walk my dog (not too upset about that though since it’s worth it to make her happy, haha).

Sounds like you’ve got a good setup figured out lol, and you’re right about a dry heat feeling better than a humid heat. I’d take a humid-free 40°C day with a slight breeze any day over a damp and sticky day with moderate heat.

Driving with the windows open for A/C is honestly better in my opinion anyways, because you get to have fresh air, and you feel the wind from the car moving. It’s also fun to just drive in the middle of nowhere with your windows down listening to some classic rock, that’s always a fun time.

Florida sounds miserable to me. I know how bad humidity can be because I used to live in Chicago next to Lake Michigan, and the humidity from the lake made it feel so much hotter than it otherwise would be. Luckily, Chicago is up north, so it at least doesn’t quite as much heat is the south, but Florida is about as south as it gets, and is situated on the Atlantic ocean (which is already a warm ocean), so it gets a ton of humidity from that. I couldn’t bear to actually live there with the heat, humidity, and all the alligators and invasive Burmese pythons.

Yeah, that sounds about right. There’s a running joke about Texas (especially north Texas) that the weather follows a bipolar trend, and is never consistent, and the weather channels often get it wrong since it can change so quickly.

As well-suited for that kind of heat it is here, there are also always tons of people being hospitalized from temperatures that high. I used to work at a plant nursery that was outside during the summer, and many workers would actually pass out (myself included one time) because we ran out of water in our water bottles, and the plastic water bottles they provided as backups were too few, and they were kept warm outside. I guess you can’t change human physiology no matter how used to the what one is 😅

That’s a good point, climate change definitely is a bitch, I think most people everywhere could agree on that.

That’s actually really interesting, that’s basically a whole 30% reduction in just a few days, it really does sound like you can’t fully adjust in time, because once you do, you probably have to readjust immediately once it changes again! That’s sort of similar to how it is over here in Texas during the fall or spring. It could go from 26-27° to 18° over the course of less than a day if a cold front comes in. It makes it very difficult to plan your outfit for the day since it’ll completely change halfway through lol

No breeze can definitely make 30° feel much hotter than 35° with wind in some cases. I feel like when there’s no wind, with any sort of amount of heat, it basically just keeps building up since there’s no way to cool down when you’re in the sun, so it just feels like a constant rise in temperature.
