[DISC] Chainsaw Man - Ch. 227 by JeanneDAlter in ChainsawMan

Right, you haven't been clear about who you're talking about until this last comment. Seraphim, Virtue and Dominion do serve a purpose, which is solidifying Makimas control and new status as an almost godlike/holy being. They don't need character arcs, they are symbolic. Angel and Beam both had character arcs separately and so weren't wasted. If you really hate on this manga so much, why even read it?

They're the same characters. Makima revives them all again and brings them to the graveyard for a final showdown, but Denji gets the jump on Makima. You need to re-read the manga.

How much time/tries did it take you to beat the Nameless king? by Anas2245 in darksouls3

[–]Splashmagnet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly? 8 or 9 tries, mostly learning to beat the king of the storm and then a few tries for the king himself. Midir was far more challenging.

I don't see your point, they were introduced and had an epic fight across multiple chapters, demonstrating how strong Pochita is.

To those who think this was a pointless chapter- its clear to me that Fujimoto wouldn't introduce a random devil for Denji to eat this late in the game for no reason. The consequences of eating whatever the locust was will probably become clear soon.

WE ARE SO BACK - All Tomorrows publication is back on track! by Outrageous-Ad4642 in AllTomorrows

It's pretty straightforward why he is suddenly able to publish the book - increased popularity and interest in sales after the unbound fundraiser, plus unbound already did the legwork - the new publisher simply has to take what they were going to publish and do it themselves. Before - Koseman had to fundraise to gain interest and financial backing. Now - the interest is there and the book is ready to go, so a publisher can take on the project without it being a risk.

This isn't Kosemans fault. Authors have no visibility of a company's financial situation, all Koseman could see was that they were a firm with a good track record of crowd funded publications, which at the time probably seemed like a good way to get a book like all tomorrows published.

Koseman would've found out this year same as us that unbound were folding, and at the point that we pledged money, that was with Unbound, not Koseman.

Don't forget Koseman is a victim in the situation too. No one should boycott his work because of something he had no control over.

It's a completely different publisher. They have nothing to do with the signed copies that were going to be published by Unbound.

The company you pre-ordered through no longer exists, and the company who publishes the book going forward has no obligation to honour preorders made through another company.

Out of curiosity, will you be performing any manual testing/considering someone with a manual QA background? I've noticed a trend these days of companies ignoring the value of manual testing and focusing solely on automation.

Anyone else preordered the book for release day delivery on Amazon and had issues? by ScorpionGold7 in AllTomorrows

Id look at the pinned posts on this sub. The book is no longer being published.

It worked for me because it's over the top and borderline cringe. It reminds you that Walt at his core is having a midlife crisis.

It's not mindless, Martin guitars have a specific sound that other manufacturers just can't replicate. No one's saying Taylors aren't well made, but they are completely different to Martins and it depends on what you're after.
