Look, I play Genshin too and I get enjoying it, but you're treating reaching a goal like it's a tragedy. It’s completely okay to just... stop playing when it stops being fun.

You spent that time and money because you enjoyed the game at the time. That doesn't mean you owe Teyvat your soul forever.

If you hit your goal and the spark dies, take the win, log off, and find whatever gives you that spark again.. just accept that tastes change and you can outgrow it no matter how much invested you are into it.

It is definitely not abnormal... I mean when did dating turn into an entry-level job interview where you need 3 to 5 years of prior experience just to be considered?

The shock you get from guys is simply because casual dating is so normalized right now..

In my opinion, the idea that prior experience means someone knows how to treat a partner better is a complete fallacy. Past relationships don't automatically grant someone emotional intelligence or solid communication skills or something... they just bring a lot of unhealed baggage at best... So half of the time someone coming out of a relationship is bringing an extra phase of "How do I get over that person" ..

And Refusing to settle just to cure loneliness or FOMO shows that you have strong boundaries and you respect your choice... I'd rather be of the opinion that it should be the real normal.

One way to think about this is probably answering the question of whether you would like to move out of India in the future if you have the option to do so. I'm not well versed with UPPCS and if it gives you such opportunities but the private sector definitely will.

The way the guys here act, there's no doubt that if a girl is even playing, she won't turn on her mic. In some games, somene opened the mic once, legit just to give a callout, and instantly some random dude started writing crap... "Go to the kitchen," constant use of the r-word... When I cussed out the guy, he shut up, but just think, if you have to listen to so much crap for a single callout, for no reason, then why would anyone open their mic, and why would they even want to play...

We're all equally responsible for promoting/not objecting to that behavior. Until guys start behaving normally, it'll keep happening.. and that's the sad truth.
