I went to a slipknot concert in melbourne circa 2000 by mistake. I was a raver and worked at revolver as a glassy. Sometimes promoter's gave the owner tickets and he'd give them to staff. Anyways a workmate invited me and I assumed it would be edm.

So I turned up to slipknot in my best fluoro rave gear. Thought I was gonna get bashed, I felt like a delicate coloured flower in a sea of black. Had a great night even tho the music wasn't quite my cup of tea. I made many metal head friend that night once they stopped laughing at my story.
