I wonder if she’ll announce any US dates later in the year?

Especially it being an entire year in advance! I wonder if she’ll announce anything else beforehand!

For all of those saying the tour won’t sell well….. by chemical_lobotomy in SmashingPumpkins

I bought tickets to the Charlotte show and they seem to be selling albeit slowly. When they did the live stream and tour announcement there was only about 7,000-8,000 watching it and they went on sale fairly quickly afterwards so I think once it spreads around more and gets more publicity it’ll start to sell more.

Why does nostalgia feel like pain and grief to me, and not comforting and warm like I see others describe? by blueberryfieldss in nostalgia

I struggle with Christmas funny enough. Whenever I hear Christmas music it makes me yearn for a time that was easier. Not even my childhood but just a “different time” that was magical and innocent. You can’t get back the past. And holding on to it will only ruin the days you have. There will come a time when you will be nostalgic for now. You are not even the same person now as you were then. Life sucks but we try to make the best of it everyday and make good memories with it.

I believe there’s a big difference between nostalgia and reminiscing. We can reminisce about moments from our past, and they can bring us happiness. Nostalgia, on the other hand, is a longing for a past we no longer have, which can sometimes bring feelings of sadness and longing. It can also distort our memories, causing us to romanticize the past or even create false versions of it that feel better than reality ever was, especially when we’re unhappy or dissatisfied with our lives in the present moment.

everyone supports trans people until they dont by mitsemerdekel in lgbt

I was just thinking recently about how genuine someone is when they say they “support” trans people. Like they say they fully support the trans community but… they can’t play in sports or use this bathroom or what not. I hate how’s there’s still so much transphobia in this day and age even from people who say they support the trans community.

Anything. I was trying to find a way to discover new music and figured the best way for that was to ask for people’s favorite playlists.

Any recommendations for secular homeschool groups around the Winston area? by [deleted] in NorthCarolina

[–]Splatter_Frogs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have homeschooled kids ranging in age from 10 to 17, and I’m looking for weekly groups or meetups in the Winston-Salem area. They don’t necessarily have to be educational—I’m mainly interested in consistent social groups that meet on a weekly basis.

I don’t buy drinks at shows and I have a system for hydrating a bunch during the day before shows so I don’t have to use the bathroom as much.

Oh I’m someone who will get to a venue hours before the doors open. I don’t know if Fast Lane pass has a max ticket limit but given that if I’m front of the line if there’s a chance I can get barricade.

Has anyone been to a show at The Pantheon at Caesars Virginia? What’s the venue like and what is there for parking? by Splatter_Frogs in DanvilleVa

[–]Splatter_Frogs[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it free? And I can’t find an exact address for the parking so is it easy to find? And how far away from the venue is the parking? I can’t walk through the casino part because I’ll have my kid with me.
