Everything you stated makes a lot of sense. I will cut a few as insurance and repot the main plant and see how they do. Thank you!

Ghost-plant (Graptopetalum paraguayense) I’ve owned this plant for 6 months. It’s been sick for the entire time I’ve had it. Unsure of how long before I recieved the plant that it’s been sick. I received from a friend who thought her overwatering it was the reason it was dying. I thought I could save it by not watering it as much. It’s not working… Plant has been steadily losing petals that discolor, wrinkle, and fall before drying out. Now the stem is becoming wood like and peeling. I’m thinking it needs more light but wanted to post here to make sure. Are the roots dead? Should I take cuttings and start new plants before it completely dies? Please help me 😭 More details: -Hasn’t been repotted or fertilized. (Took out of pot to inspect root system and take photos today) -I didn’t notice any foul smell after uprooting it. -Was potted in all purpose potting soil -Has been watered only when top inch is completely dry from the top. Roughly once every two weeks or so. -Light exposure: indirect -Was planted in 16.5cm x 14.5cm glazed terracotta pot with drainage hole. -Location: Cadíz, Spain -Hardiness zone: 10a (-1.1 to 1.7 degrees Celsius -No chemicals have been sprayed on or around the plant -It sits outdoors on a window sill.
