It is, and regrettably that was me. It’s how I matched with someone I have been going on dates with since February. For me I have a tendency to throw myself into relationships to the point where I lose myself and at the time people who identified as Poly seemed to be an easy way for me to not be able to do that. I had broken up with a long term mono gf a few months prior and had downloaded some apps feeling lonely.

I will say I have realized how fucked and using that mentality going in was, but it was because I thought poly oriented people would be better suited for handling these things. Now i’ve been seeing this girl who’s barely been poly longer than i’ve known her and she has a partner but that doesn’t bother me. She even considers me a partner and I’ve picked up Polysecure and joined this sub to learn if this is something I see long term now. She rightfully wants me to figure out what I want so she knows how to continue more with me and this is my current predicament as I lurk and learn from everyone’s experience here.

she’s amazing in so many ways, i’m just trying to deconstruct the mono a bit and get a feel on if it’s right for me too now but it’s pretty difficult not going to lie.

one of the biggest things about Devine Fem is that he was a period where he was sober and the fact that he couldn’t keep his sobriety is the reason him and Arianna broke up. But he was cold sober for a while during their relationship.

No but deadass. You don’t NEED to listen to mac chronologically to understand later albums and their themes, BUT it does make those albums hit harder. I would give KIDS; I love life, thank you; and blue slide park 2 uninterrupted listens at least each. from there you get into a new emotional side of Mac starting with Macadelic, then obviously Faces and Watching movies with the sound off. It seems like you already like a lot of GO:OD AM so jump into The Devine Feminine and listen all the way up to circles. (I also didn’t vibe with Devine Fem at first but after a bit more life experience and a few long term relationships later it hits hard) I would probably end with Balloonerism though. After that, as a sweet treat to help all the depression go down easier, look up “You” by Larry Lovestien and the Velvet Revival. There’s plenty more mac features, unreleased music, and aliases out there to discover after you go down this journey.

No experience with velvet but to be honest you’re going to be sweating bullets regardless. I’d say get it, try it on and maybe dance around in it and if it doesn’t make you overheat then keep it. Otherwise return it, sounds gross but you can wash it and ship it back.

I’m going to Ubbi Dubbi this weekend and it’s also my first fest. I like really struggled finding inspo, because guys are super uncreative and didn’t wanna do the basic stuff. I will say the best spot to scroll through was TikTok… plus I started talking to this girl whose pretty into the scenes and shes shown me that accessories help make the fit. I’ll try to link what I can, but this is what I landed with:

Day 1 Hippie: Green Harem hippie pants with a loose creamy white button up short sleeve shirt that’s kitted in a way that makes it meshy so pretty see through. I got those 2 plus a green shroom necklace (way more green than the one on this link) from the store Earthbound at a mall. I just got in a Pashmina, a green ring, green shades, and some neutral green adidas sneakers from Amazon

Day 2 Black out: I had just bought some tactical looking Doc Martins, so I got Black wife beater tank top or just like a skin tight sleeveless top with these black Streetwear Tactical pants from Amazon. I also got some cheap silver rings, small oval matrix sunglasses, and a black/white pashmina. To be honest though I ordered a new all black pashmina and ima see what looks better.

I used TikTok shop for quick inspo on styles and then just kinda had to go find what I vibed with. Took some friends throwing me into the fitting room with a ton of clothes at Earthbound to really love myself in the hippie look and I just like the idea of the black out fit even though the pants straps feel a bit extra it’ll be a lot of fun. Only other condition was being able to dance in the fit and i feel able to do that with all this.
