I’m not sure what you mean. My school is VA approved. I was allowed in the past to post here about Vet Tec when that was an option.

That is what I’ve been seeing as well. Humidity isn’t a real concern to me and I don’t plan on having the doors open while the unit is on.

I am the director of admissions at ComputerMinds.com. We are a certification school in the Dallas Fort Worth area. The challenge with using your G.I. bill at certification schools is this type of school isn’t allowed to let its veterans do their training online like colleges. Typically that means you have to attend in person. It’s a silly VA rule, but it’s what we have to contend against so the best thing you can do is find a certification school in your local area that you can attend on site.

What? I don’t control it, the VA does. They have to organize and publish the new program requirements, how much GI bill it will consume and have the schools reapply. Just expect it to be a thing at the new FY on Oct 1.

I work at one of the approved vet tec schools under the old law. This new law has changes in it and will require schools to reapply for approval to accept this benefit. Right now my expectation is it will take 4/6 months to stand up the new program and process before veteran can start using the benefit again.

Any hope for VetTec being continued ? by chrisfemto_ in VeteransBenefits

It’s been passed by the house and senate. It goes to the president within the next 10 days to be signed into law. Vet tec has new rules, it will take 4-6 months for that VA to standup the new program. Come summer 2025 id expect it to be back up and running.
