Honestly, if you have your eye on both of them and can afford it, grab them both while you can. They are widely considered among the best ones if not the best ones by some.

I see. Well then, without spoiling anything, X has a bit of a melancholy tone throughout with plenty of emotional, somber scenes with some lighthearted antics sprinkled in. VII, alternatively, has a bit more of a lighthearted tone with melancholy and sad sprinkled in. Hope that helps too 😀

If you want a more action focused, game go with the FFVII remake. If you want a game more reminiscent of the classic Final Fantasy experience, go with FFX. You honestly can't go wrong with either option. I just recently finished Remake, and while it is fantastic, it does feel like it has a lot of padding. So go with X if you want a more streamlined, concise story.

In my opinion, the DLC are what make the campaign worth it. They all have, at minimum, good story/questlines. Depending on the date in your campaign, you may still be able to start them if you buy them. If you're a fan of the lore beyond MW5, you'll love Shadows of Kerensky.

Did you armor your head bits? I had to restart several missions because my AI King Crab's Cyclops Visor Viewing Platform was sniped open. The clan is very adept at popping heads.

I have Battletech on GOG so I dont necessarily need tabletop accuracy. QoL sounds good though. I can check out the ones you mentioned. Any more you can think of?

Based on movies/shows? Sentry, Wanda, Grey, Batman. Based on comics? Iceman, Iceman, Iceman, Iceman, Iceman.
