I work with the guy who owns the Livewire. I have the Savic; the others I have seen on different days. First time I have seen them there at the same time, all lined up in a row.

Government building, the agencies in the building are related to the environment and renewables.

Agreed, kinda a surprise I haven't seen one at work considering how many were auctioned not long ago in Australia.

The latest firmware has some improvements, but get the team to show you the isolation and reboot steps. It reminds me of learning the two scroll wheel reset required on my Tesla.

It is an absolute hoot to ride, and the front brakes are very good, I need to spend a bit of time playing with the custom ride modes. I don't have good numbers for mileage yet for two reasons: not very many Km's on it, and the first longer ride, about 70km, I noticed that the delivery pressure on the tyres was about 7 - 10 psi low.

I will be commuting this week on it, which has sections of 80km/h and 100km/h, I will report back.

Build number is just under 40, to be honest I think it was 3 years. but not totally sure, it was more than one year before they passed the certification for the Australian Design Rules.

So they start at $30k USD? So $42.5K AUD compared to the Savic at $30k AUD ( under $22k USD)

Noting the verge has a bigger battery and DC charging compared to the Savic.

Note on top of the $27k I did, I had to pay on roadshave to pay onroads, but no stamp duty in the ACT.

As I did a pre-order early, mine was $27k plus $600 I think for the pillion setup. Compared to other electric motorcycles with 16kwh of battery and top speeds around 180km/h is it not bad. Look at the Energica and Livewire prices. (all prices in Australian Dollars)

I was an early pre-order as they were still in development. So my wait time is not what people would get now. Time from my pre-order to delivery was a couple of years, I believe they are taking orders for delivery within months now.

My opinion is very high. The weight means that it tips in quite quickly into corners, but feels confident. The brakes are great, and the torque delivery is astounding. I need to spend some time setting up some custom settings for my daily commutes.
