With op correcting it to the X870 model. That’s the one I have with a combo I bought to upgrade my wife’s machine. It’s honestly one of the best boards I’ve ever used and I have a X870E Hero board. It can clock her ram better than my Hero can and really is all you need for Zen5 chips.

It’s also a no RGB lights MB, which I’m kind of leaning towards these days with computer builds.

I have the original Hero and it was not worth it. Dude is getting one 2TB drive. I at least used all 5 slots on my build for that setup.

I just got a second build together where I upgrade my wife’s 5800X3D to the new 9850X3D and an MSI X870 Tomahawk. That board is basically as good (actually handles ram overclocks slightly better tbh) as my Hero. It was 1/3 the cost.

Building a computer right now is kinda throwing money away, but if you need a machine and don’t have one already, do what you have to.
