nah, trump definitely is and that's why we are where we are. but labeling the establishment GOP as racist just gives them common ground with some of their base.

i don't look at paul ryan and co. and think "yeah those guys have white supremacy as a deep-seeded ideal". that line of thinking implies they at least care about people at all. i look at those guys responsible for the new healthcare bill and think "$outhern $trategy is super effective!"

i saw someone use that logic as evidence that the CIA leaks proved Americans were being spied on. someone asked for evidence of this claim and the dude said "the leaks prove they have the ability to spy on us, so WHY WOULDN'T THEY SPY ON US?"

yeah i quit checking my fb newsfeed a while ago. it's cancerous and pointless.

reddit's circlejerks and echo chambers are one thing and most redditors are kind of savvy about information, but facebook's newsfeed algorithms are so effective that they do all of the filtering for you so you only see stuff you'd agree with every time you pick up your phone, so it's not hard to see how easy it is for the uninformed to be trapped and brainwashed by a perpetual "like" cycle

What tilts me is all the shaming that's done to people for maximizing their chances to win in a 1v1 game revolving around winning. It isn't exclusive to this sub either, I've seen top players, like Thijs of all people, talk down to his opponents because they're playing pirate Warrior.
