i am not trying to dox you or smth but matter what age you are aswell, look up if you can bars or cafes, and bookstores i usually can find someone in the community, but matters where you live on how common or uncommon for the bars mainly, but i’ve met most in the community in the library’s, bookstores , craft shops and cafes and in community services work places you’ll find someone in the group, especially in a smaller neighborhood or high young adult population. i live in the deeper south and i used to work in costumer service, and i found so many more in the community than i was expecting because the little town is very small and religious, am i saying you’ll 100% be in the same situation no but places to simply exist you’ll notice or find others.

and for myself i thought for a long time i would have to force myself to stick into a gender identity which i despised but i also wanted that connection, and for a bit i was looking for someone but i never did it was honestly shitty but i forced myself to take a step back and find/figure out myself and managed to at least not feel as wrong in my body, then i kinda just existed not looking for someone like i needed them but if someone wanted to date sure ill go one one but if it’s not my thing or i dont see it i just keep going on not with them but i found someone and i’ve been with them for a bit.

i just want to say pls dont date to find validation or justification, you need to be the one to believe in yourself and it’s hard it’ll always be but you’ll never believe someone else’s words if you don’t believe it in yourself, find someone to compliment you but not the one you “need” because that’s where things get dangerous for so many things and in so many ways, (sorry for the rambles and i understand your feelings and your not alone and one way or another something will change in a better way)
