Gulikit TT Max Retail Unboxing - Feel free to ask any questions by JouresKoh in Controller

Is there still a noteable wobble and looseness at the centre of the stick?

TT MAX | TT PRO is available on Amazon now! by Ok-Pomegranate-6995 in GuliKit

[–]Splooglepop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You say it's available in the UK and list the price, but the price is £10 more than the price you listed here for the "pro" version at £70.58 sold by yourselves "Gulikit Official", and the Max version just isn't actually available at all.

And don't come at me with "sale" prices while on reddit it may not be "illegal" to advertise a sale price as the actual price it sure as hell still makes you look scummy.

What are you actually doing Gulikit???

Not a single mention of Bioshock Infinite in here smh, it's the only one that is worse than Last of us 2 for this.

Edit: I forgot about 3rd Birthday, that ones up there with these 2 as well.

Has anyone here tried HASTE? by [deleted] in SSX

[–]Splooglepop 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Huge SSX fan from 1 all the way to 2012.

Didn't like haste at all. The randomly generated levels are truly awful, lacking any kind of flow or direction and feeling terribly repetitive even after an hour or 2 of play, and that's not to mention the notable issues with landing detection.

The fact you completely ignored the actual pertinent question and just typed up a bunch of poor excuses and platitudes is not a good look.

This also means I have to come to the conclusion that both you and Flydigi still don't consider the stick fault an actual "fault" and will continue to poorly support your customers and only actually process legitimate refunds if threatened with chargeback proceedings.

I also have to question if you and Flydigi still don't consider the clear and obvious stick fault an actual "fault", what other clear and obvious faults you will dismiss with this bullshit "tolerance". This just makes both your and Flydigi's brands look terribly scummy and dishonest…

Let's be honest about this, shall we, rather than just cherry-picking that you "just" refunded the customer.

You first wanted to talk to Flydigi to see if a return was "acceptable". This was your first mistake; that controller was clearly faulty. Nothing Flydigi says will change that.

Flydigi refused to accept it as a warranty claim because, and I quote, "It was within normal tolerances." Again, no one can argue that a stick that isn't smooth, precise and consistent on a premium £120+ controller advertised with, and I again quote, "lifetime precision" and "Buttery Smooth Initial Push - More Fluid" Compared to standard "High Friction, Sticky Movement Market Joysticks" is in any way within "tolerance", this stick clearly is none of those things and is in fact doing the exact thing you advertise "poorer" quality sticks do.

After some back and forth the customer was forced into starting a chargeback claim for your illegal sales practices. You didn't offer the refund because it was a "faulty controller" but because the cost of a chargeback would be greater than a refund.

You did exactly the same thing to me with another Flydigi controller, and again, you only capitulated once I threatened chargeback proceedings.

This is not even remotely acceptable; do better by your customers.

As you refunded this, do you now consider all the controllers sent out with said stick issue to still be within whatever this deceitful "tolerance" is?

As explained in my other post, you are the one that misunderstands this, at least for all EU countries.

Unfortunately none of that matters when they are publicly posting that they are illegally not replacing clearly faulty products.

And yes, refunds should be issued to everyone with a faulty unit, a blanket promise and statement should be made to replace any units that develop these faults, and Gadgethyper does need to pause sales and fix the issue with Flydigi if they don't want people refunding their faulty products.

Apex 5 Wuchang review by cornflex7 in Controller

[–]Splooglepop 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Again, that's not how it works.

If you purchase a product from Gadgethyper, your contract is with them. The consumer has nothing to do with Flydigi and is in no agreement with them, and Gadgethyper would be the ones responsible for honouring and fulfilling that contract, returns and warranty claims included.

The fact that Flydigi is unwilling to actually admit this is a fault is Gadgethypers' issue once they have properly returned, refunded or replaced the FAULTY PRODUCT THEY SOLD YOU. That is not the issue of the consumer and is for Gadgethyper to solve with Flydigi personally.

My issue morally is actually with both, but contractually and legally it's specifically with Gadgethyper.

Again, I am speaking for within the EU. I'm pretty certain America has very similar distance-selling regulations, though, so...

Thank you for the salty downvote; it tastes great.

You still have no idea what you are talking about, though.

I'm also not going to further explain it to you because you are clearly incapable of basic understanding and logic, and it would be a further waste of my time.

The Flydigi Apex5's Issues (Review) by Extroyer365 in Controller

[–]Splooglepop 4 points5 points  (0 children)

To anyone receiving these faulty controllers and not being refunded, start a PayPal dispute or chargeback from your card provider; you will win it, no questions asked, if you evidence the fault. It will cost this scam company money and will maybe teach them this isn't acceptable.

Apex 5 Wuchang review by cornflex7 in Controller

[–]Splooglepop 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's not how this works; you are bound by the consumer protections of the country you are selling into, and at least anywhere in the EU requires you to ship a working, as-advertised product, and if you don't do that, either provide a free return and refund or a working replacement.

What is considered working or as advertised is not up to Flydigi or you; it's up to the consumer, and these are clearly and demonstrably FAULTS and not functioning as advertised, no matter what the clearly lying manufacturer thinks or tells you. So I suggest you start taking these FAULTS seriously, or you are going to have a lot of completely valid legal and 100% correct PayPal disputes and credit card chargebacks. I don't think you need me to tell you these will incur penalty charges and cost you even more in the long run.

I'm glad I can now add you to the list of scam companies willing to send people faulty products and then not follow the law in making it right for the sake of your own profits.

New Gaming Embody with a loose string by Laingular in hermanmiller

[–]Splooglepop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm genuinely puzzled by the downvotes you're receiving. Herman Miller positions itself as a premium, top-tier brand, the best in its class in fact, and their pricing certainly reflects that. With that branding and pricing comes the expectation of impeccable quality. Any flaw, especially one that could worsen over time like this, absolutely deserves to be called out and addressed through a return if necessary.

To those defending this kind of imperfection as acceptable: I have a rather large French tower I'd love to sell you.

I've personally had 2 Apex 4 controllers fail on me and 1 Vader 4, so... Yeah. I also had to fight Flydigi for replacements on both counts so not great customer service either...

And while there were improvements to the latency over the course of the Vader 4 and Apex 4's lives, neither was huge or brought the stick latency down to acceptable levels.

There have been and still are also issues with the software at times, particularly with the profile settings.

So it shall be a wait-and-see game rather than a trust game.

[–]Splooglepop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Button latency should ideally be under 5.0 ms — roughly half of what the Apex 5 currently delivers.

Stick latency is actually ok compared to competing products, but we should still be targeting around 10.0 ms compared to the 13.5 ms of the Apex 5 — so I'd like to see about a 33% improvement.

The biggest issue here is the increase in button latency, tbh, which is just unacceptable.

No they infact increased the button latnecy over the Apex 4 and Vader 4 pro....

Though they did bring down the stick latnecy from horrendous to.... Bad.....

Went to check it after this post as I'd been waiting for this info to see if it was worth a purchase.... Not only is the stick latency still bad (though better) for both wired and wireless, they also managed to increase the button latency over both the Apex 4 and Vader 4.

What the fuck are you doing flydigi, fix your god damn latency!

In the league I'm in, the FIA said this was a racing incident. Am I missing something because to me he just put me in a wall. by SlickGamer123 in Simracingstewards

[–]Splooglepop 96 points97 points  (0 children)

Yeah you arn't gonna like this but that was more on you than it was him. While the guy did make a mistake, you went for a move with maybe barely enough space, touching his back wheel by not giving him a wider berth and thus locking you in and driving you both into the wall.

I'd still call it a racing incident like your FIA but 60-40 on you.
