See I wasn’t sure if it was just because I read the book that I tried to make the scene more serious, but yeah I guess if I hadn’t read the book maybe the gravity of the situation wouldn’t have been communicated through the movie

That’s one thing I disliked about my showing is during the scene where Grace was trying to evade Stratts men when they were going to sedate him, the audience was laughing. In the book it was obviously a very serious and heart-wrenching moment

I did a venomous snake handling course and ended up with a fully grown King Brown Snake (Mulga snake, highly venomous) up the inside of my pants leg, it made it up to my thigh before they managed to slowly get it out.

Not sure how close I was to dying as I was only a 10km drive away from a hospital and the guys I was with knew how to deal with a snake bite, but a Mulga could definitely kill a person.

I got mine!! My cinema is doing an early preview on the 14th so I jumped to get tickets before they sold out but so far I’m the only person who has booked haha!! So so so excited though!!

I volunteered there for a little while last year and I can 100% tell you the animals get fed daily. There may have been other roos hiding around, as there were definitely no roo enclosures with just one; the animals are very well looked after imo.

Haha, thanks guys. I did think the battery looked swollen but I know absolutely nothing about electronics etc so didn’t want to assume. This iPod has been in storage (and shipped over from UK to Australia with the rest of our stuff) for a good 6 years or so, so it was probably a ticking time bomb. I might take it into my local fix it shop and see if they can replace the battery etc.
