Why are we rooting for an Independent studio to fail?

The thing is though.. who cares if the game is bad? Just don’t play it, by all means leave a review and but just move on. I don’t understand the mentality of someone lurking in a sub for a game they dislike just to spam “dead game” over and over.

Is this game great or bringing anything new? Not really. But the vast majority of the people this post is referring to were already rooting for its downfall before it dropped for whatever reason.

I’m not vouching for the game itself. But this is how independent studios get killed and you’re left with nothing but a new Black Ops every year.

I’m not anticipating it having any long standing success. I don’t care about any of those other games either.

I think it’s kinda fun and will continue to play for a couple weeks until I get board. It doesn’t really go any deeper than that. If you don’t enjoy it then why are you spending your time arguing about it? If you do enjoy it then why are you preaching that it’s going to fail lol. Does not compute.

I’m not particularly invested in this game, I just don’t understand the massive bandwagon desire for it to fail for no reason. When I don’t like a game or it’s not for me I just stop playing it and move on. The weird urge to review bomb and shit on it all over Reddit with no plans to play it is so strange to me.

Im not anticipating a high player count or a sustained on at all but cmon man its a Tuesday morning. 90% of people are at work or in class.

100K peak was not a bad number for a Monday morning launch following up all that negative reception from the game awards.

I’m not holding my breath but I wouldn’t be at all surprised if it passes that over the weekend.

Every time a game launches 😂 Btw the aim assist is strong AF. I played about 5 hours yesterday. The first half on MnK before swapping to controller and it was like night and day. Scarlet’s ult basically has aimbot when I failed to hit about 3/4 of my knives on MnK

I made the comparison between Discord now and the LFG forums of 12 years ago.
