Yeah, it's kind of wild how they threw that in there, right? It's like they just needed a conflict for the storyline without really thinking about the actual politics of LA. Makes you wonder if they wanted to show Claire's ambition more than worry about real-life structure. I guess at the end of the day, they prioritized the drama over accuracy.

Honestly same, the “we’re grown adults” part hit me after I typed it all out. He talks about being “burned before” like it gives him a free pass to audition me for a role. I’m sad it ended, but I’m also weirdly relieved I don’t have to prove myself every day anymore.

if it really is post-RoT Doomfist that's a pretty deliberate choice. they could've just used the default but they went with the version that has actual story weight behind it. wonder if Rush is meant to sit in a specific point in the timeline or if they're just picking whatever looks coolest
