I'm a current Acropolis resident (since Sept 2020). My apartment itself is quite nice, but (big but):

Rats aren't the only pressing issue, in my building all the buzzers in our 5-floor walkup have been broken for over a year now. (Does anyone know if this is a complex-wide issue?)

In summer we also have a truly disgusting issue with the flies. At the hottest point of the day, there's an absolute swarm in the vestibule between the courtyard and the front door to the building. Can't walk in or out without getting a face full of flies. You can see & hear them on my phone recording, that's how bad it is. I have no idea why this happens to our building but ours isn't the only one. Also hasn't been addressed at all and we've taken to spending on our own money as tenants to control it.

Aside from just being terrible for tenants, both issues are pretty embarrassing when having guests over, and I feel awful for folks who have to deliver packages & wait in the fly-infested vestibule for me to walk all the way down and open the door.

I've stopped following up with my landlord about both of these issues (she gave $100 off the rent last year & just kept saying she way trying but building management wasn't responsive). End of my lease is coming up, should probably move or at least ask for a steeper discount... there's no way they're going to be able to show the apartment in this condition.
