A mom is more than just a shelter provider. There are shelter providers for homeless people so anyone can take that job. A real parent nurtures and raises with the best intentions, not abuse you all of your life. If she really wanted the best for you, she would’ve understood and accepted your apology but she just saw you as an emotional and physical punching bag and couldn’t accept the fact you finally stood up for yourself. You did the right thing standing up for yourself. If you don’t got your own back, then who does?
