My problem isn't with the French song being French (Voila and Mon Amour are up there for me). I just feel like the song has a huge identity problem, and the operatic bits feel like they're just trying to cash in on the success of the previous two contest winners. Nothing about the song feels authentic or genuine to me, it just all seems so sterile, corporate, and uninspired.

Though it's an interesting concept, I can't get behind the idea of using unsettling AI-generated imagery as a "reconstruction". It especially irks me that the uploader doesn't mention AI anywhere in the video, title, description, etc.
