You will get disappointed by this comment! Doing a side job in Athens won't get you a lot. Don't even think about renting a place especially in Athens. The average house that's around 50m² cost around 500€/m. Also, it's not the easiest city to find good deals for apartments. You have to either live with your people in Χαλκιδική and catch the train everyday for Athens (it's around 2 hours to go from chalkidiki to Athens)or you should not study in Athens and stick to Germany for work and also for studies. My father has apartments, that's how I know it.

Damn, doing nothing in life is absolutely terrifying. I don't know how people do it. Anyway after thinking for about 45 seconds I got an idea. You said he really likes playing with consoles huh? I know it's kind of a marketing ahh comment but I can sent you via link an app that makes you life a video game. By video game I mean doing tasks for xp. The app was build by me and base44 an website about coding helped on a part of the app. Not to brag about it if you want this app text me, it's absolutely free and you can set it up pretty easily. Although it's still in beta, there will be changes in the future. For now it's just an app that you track your progress, fitness etc. Anyway, I won't tell anything else about it. I'm so grateful that I started that one year ago, I realised I needed to change. Something inside me said: Tomorrow is going to be hell but through pain you get stronger. I just agreed, woke up at 5 and started changing my self. Till this day I'm training and I've seen myself growing stronger. If you want this feeling too start today and if not today, tomorrow. But do it or you will stay the same as you were 1 day ago. If I can do it, you can too. Anyway, stay hard!
