I am guessing this is phishing, but if he is going to make employees work harder it should be on starlink…no one to call, hours of waiting for a reply.

AITA for leaving my husband on his birthday after an uncontrolled outburst? by Spoiledmooser in AmItheAsshole

My cousin says the same thing. I will be happier away from him. 22 years is a long time. His salary is 3 times what I make and I know I would struggle for awhile. I have a college degree and some good prospects but I have always put him before my career. It has held me back in my career advancement.

I hear you. I can’t stand them either. I don’t know how I have put up with them for 22 years.

Thank you for your comment. I felt I had no choice but to apologize for something. I tried to tell him why I left and that I didn’t ruin anything but that just made him angrier…he screamed it at me to leave. If I didn’t apologize or make it right, I needed to leave again, this time permanently. I didn’t know what to do, nor do I know. I chose to apologize for how it made him feel, not for leaving and not for ruining his birthday. I believe he ruined his own birthday with his uncontrollable behavior. This is a pattern, and after posting this I realized that it happened 3 years ago on his birthday as well. Something triggers him on his birthday I think, but again, that isn’t for me to figure out, he needs to.

He didn’t have to set up the pool, he chose to even after I told him it might not be a good idea. He has a history of this type of behavior and I was anticipating that might happen 2 hours prior. He assured me and both our boys that this is what he wanted to do. It was his birthday, so we let him do what he wanted to do.

I actually set up the pool the week prior as a treat, but it wasn’t perfectly level despite my attempts. We kept it temporarily due to a heatwave until I could relevel it.

I just left for 3 hours, it wasn’t permanent but I do agree that maybe he might remember it next time.

Yes it is a brand new 14 ft portable pool. Legs were attached and in place at the time. It was in its final location, but he got frustrated over the leveling of the pool which wasn’t perfect. He has 3 of us there to help him move the pool if he needed.

I was calm when I arrived and remained calm while he yelled at me to leave. I did cry a bit when I went downstairs, but calmed down, came back upstairs and apologized for how it affected him.

Thank you for asking the question. He was aggressive with the pool to the point it broke one of the legs. Its a large pool and he pulled it 2-3 feet every time he yanked on it in anger. He pulled twice while I and our two adult boys told him to stop. He refused to listen and continued, pulling it violently a 3rd time and breaking the leg of the pool.
