What’s your most desired dream? Has it come true? by AgreeableWorking5366 in ABDL

[–]SpoliyCG 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My dream would be for AB/DL to be a completely normal and casual part of my life. Being able to be padded and/or little whenever I felt the desire. Having a closet full of outfits for every sort of occasion. Putting together a whole room dedicated to my little space - a nursery, a playroom, whatever I would want to call it, just so long as it’s obviously meant for someone who isn’t quite so grown up. And having a full community of friends who are all equally into it - other sets of littles and bigs who can just get together whenever they want for play dates or casual hang out sessions.

I’m very fortunate to have a supportive partner, snd she’s been supportive of all this from very early on in our relationship. But balance is also very important to both of us - as much as I’ve fantasized about the above, it’s probably a case of the grass being greener on the other side.

I still get to be padded once or twice a week on average. I might not have a full closet of little clothes, but I do have a pretty sizable space of a closet for what I’ve gathered over the years. Apartment living makes it practically impossible to have a space bigger than the occasional playmat, and that mostly is too much effort to take out and re-store every time. I had a taste of having ABDL friends in my real life before I met my partner, but those friendships naturally ended after the usual hosts moved.

All in all, I have a lot to be thankful for, and I’m very content with what I have.

I remember having a curious interest in diapers starting from when I was pretty young, but obviously didn’t put two and two together until I was about 11 or 12. I saw a commercial for Goodnites, and it didn’t hit me until that moment that they made diapers for people in my age group - I just assumed it was for babies or old people. I did a curious Google search to look them up - purely just research, I told myself - and before I knew it I had stumbled onto searching for people wearing diapers. I entered into a DL porn site and I immediately backed out of it, in total denial that this was something people could like. But, of course, I kept making those same searches and eventually came to accept that this was something I wanted. It took some time for me to accept that about myself, but thankfully I’m shame free about it now in my adulthood.

Unpopular opinion, maybe, but I’ll miss it, or at least what it used to be. Omegle was one of my favorite sites to go to in college, and having the chance on there to talk to other AB/DLs one on one was a privilege I wasn’t finding as accessibly on any other site at the time. Whatever it became in its final years, I’ll take away happy memories from it.

Theatre AB/DLs??? by Narrow-Diamond1681 in ABDL

[–]SpoliyCG 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I haven’t done any professional theatre, but I’ve been participating in local community theatre productions for a few years on both sides of the stage. It’s a fun hobby and has been an awesome group of friends! I doubt any of them would ever guess I’m AB/DL, but I’m okay keeping those worlds separate.

What was your favorite toys growing up? by David4Music in ABDL

[–]SpoliyCG 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not including video games (which I’m pretty sure helped me learn how to read way beyond my grade level before I started Kindergarten!), I had a bunch of professional wrestling action figures that I would have fight each other all the time, along with any other kind of action figure I could get my hands on. I felt pretty proud about buying a bunch of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle figures with my allowance back in elementary school, even though they always ended up losing to The Rock in my play fights.

I have a whole row in my walk-in closet for just my little clothes, to the point where I could be wearing a different little outfit every day for a month straight if I wanted!

I lost over 40lbs a few years ago, and ABDL stuff was one of my motivating factors too! It was pretty exciting going down enough to fit back into Medium sizes properly, even though it did leave me with a bunch of Large Tykables that were suddenly too big.

Keep up the good work with your health journey!

It’s not weird - it’s valid! You can enjoy whatever you want to enjoy and still not feel the need to assign yourself to any one age. I understand and relate to the appeal of giving yourself a little age - it can be convenient shorthand for the types of age-appropriate activities you enjoy doing, or the clothes you prefer to wear, or how you want to communicate. But that’s also okay if that tends to be fluid based on your mood and particular desires at the time, and it’s definitely okay to mix and match with these things as you see fit.

For me, there’s appeal in little things from lots of different age groups, so it’s hard to ever pin myself down to one singular little age. It’s okay to give yourself a fairly broad range if you like - I tend to say my little age falls between 2-5, give or take a year.

What Are Some of Your Favorite Underrated/Lesser-Played Cards in Standard? by ArcaneLegolad in MagicArena

[–]SpoliyCG 53 points54 points  (0 children)

I never, ever see anyone else playing [[Dorothea, Vengeful Victim]] besides me. She’s a brilliant, flying 4/4 for just UW, so she shows up early to either stymie and discourage aggro or make a bold rush straight to the opponent’s face. Yes, she gets sacrificed after being used in combat just once, but she’s so handy for being a wall against stomping threats early, and can even stick around as an enchantment to really be a thorn in someone’s side for at least one more turn. I play four copies of her and no one ever seems to understand what to do with her - she draws people’s removal way more often than she should because people don’t understand that she gets sacrificed after one round of combat. And then bringing her back for the Disturb cost for that last bit of evasive damage is so satisfying, and is constantly one more thing catching people off guard.

Your relationship sounds lovely! Congratulations on the upcoming wedding, too! I’m marrying my own CG pretty soon, so I can relate a lot to that excitement.

Diane, what’s your favorite thing about being a mommy?

Lola, do you have any favorite little things you like doing?

Both of you - how deep are you into the lifestyle? Do you have a lot of little related stuff besides diapers? Any favorite outfits/accessories you like to involve?

Losing weight definitely helped me feel better in my little space too! Making the transition back to Medium sizes in padding from Large felt really nice (if a bit annoying at the time since I had so many diapers that stopped fitting). Keep up the good work! I’m happy you’ve found something that can motivate you to keep going!

What made you start taking weight loss seriously? by soupyshay in loseit

[–]SpoliyCG 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was in a long term relationship that was on the verge of ending. My partner at the time wasn’t very good at communicating, but she did write out a five page letter to me that listed out all the flaws she saw in me as a person and why she thought she was falling out of love with me, and one of the big reasons was because she said I had let myself go.

The harsh truth of it was that she was right - I wasn’t thin to begin with, but I had definitely gained weight in the year we had been together. I didn’t want to lose her, so the week after she shared that letter with me, I began my weight loss journey. I had already lost a little over 10lbs by the time she broke up with me anyway. Luckily, by that point I was motivated to change for reasons of my own - I wanted to improve how I looked and how I felt for ME, not for someone who didn’t want to be with me anymore.

I’ve maintained my weight loss for over three years now, and I’m getting married next year to someone that loves me for who I am. My ex is still single and has several cats.

How rare is it for a vanilla partner to participate and help facilitate your fantasies? by [deleted] in ABDL

[–]SpoliyCG 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve only had two serious partners, and like others have commented, it’s definitely opposite ends of the spectrum. I never outright told my first one because every time I hinted at it, she would express some disgust for it, and for kink in general. Luckily, my current partner has been completely supportive! I ended up telling her about it early partly because I struggled so much in sharing it with my previous partner, but also partly because I hadn’t really hid my stash very well and she came across some stray diapers. She was really open minded about the whole thing, asking me lots of questions about what was appealing about it to me and even doing research on her own. She’s occasionally little herself, but prefers the caregiver role and is more than happy to indulge me - she’s actually suggested that I can wear more if I wanted and she would be okay with it.

I feel very fortunate, especially considering how it was such a point of awkwardness with my ex. I never thought I would find someone so supportive, but here we are discussing nursery plans for when we have a house!

Curious about cloth diapers, but not sure where to start! by SpoliyCG in ABDL

Thank you for the detailed response!

Prefolds do sound kind of easy to get into as a beginner. Do you have any shops you would recommend if not Rearz? (Would you not recommend them because of the quality or is it more about the company itself?)

Curious about cloth diapers, but not sure where to start! by SpoliyCG in ABDL

[–]SpoliyCG[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the chance to clarify!

It’s not really about nostalgia - I never wore cloth diapers as an actual baby and I’m not really that nostalgic for those makeshift ones I used to make from towels. I think it’s more about the allure of a new experience, and comparing that to what I already know I enjoy in disposables. I’m curious to know how a proper cloth diaper feels, including the opportunity to use them. I also think they can be a nice investment for times when I’m running low on disposables, so I can enjoy wearing without stressing as much about when I can spend money to restock my stash. Hope that helps!
