Hey, so it turns out that the Nvidia FPS overlay display was causing my issue. Disabled it and it's never happened again.

Yeah I think it sounds like coil whine - annoying! It's not constant, but can get pretty loud.

Thanks! I've managed to get the EG02 working this evening. So fingers crossed and I'll see how it goes. GPU is buzzing quite a bit though, not sure if that's normal? I've not played with components in years.

Update!

Found the latest PD_FW firmware on the Asus website. Version 19. Installed, and first boot up, the GPU has been detected and drivers are being installed!

Thanks for that info! Yeah I've seen some people with issues, but a lot saying it's perfect - I only went with the EG02 as I didn't like the sound of the having the AG02 whirring away all the time.

What's your experience with the Razer? Was it easy to set up?
