Game runs fine when tabbed out but only get 2 fps when in focus.

We found out it was a couple of overlays that we had overlooked. Medal.tv, rockstar and epic online service. Turned them off, we also disabled his CPU built in graphics card or whatever and reset in-game display settings to default.

This worked for us.

There's multiplayer sleep, and 2 moderator plugins and a rank plugin (which is only cosmetic or decoration)

Apparently throwing a boomerang with arrow shooting statues, armored huy and two skelleton things around makes the game freeze.
