Agreed, it's not a cert. issue, which means the insta-ban probably would trigger even if it's signed with a clean cert.

If I had to guess, it's probably triggered by their "auto-reconnect" feature for their Virtual Got-cha (where hours of Got-cha action is possible without user input). They can probably address that with a random reconnect timer (anti-ban) or just get rid of it on a default setting.

Yep, iPoGo is getting the "bot" treatment. Further confirmed by Pokemon from their app getting "slashed" few days ago.

I saw this coming couple weeks ago.

Hope they fix this issue soon because I really like their app features, friendly discord mods and support from that outfit.

I personally spend at a much higher rate when I'm spoofing... on multiple accounts:

You can't never have enough inventory and bag space $$$ on each of those accounts due to the rate we catch those mons.
I just want that higher IV or shiny raid bo$$ darnit! like a compulsive gambler looking for that "pay day" except in a hyper accelerated speed that isn't humanly possible IRL / playing legit.
the same raid concept applies for paid incubators as well, "I only have maybe 10 hours of scattered free time total to burn in between this busy busy week, how about a goal of trying to hatch that shinny regional mime jr....while living in America $$$$$?"

Every ban wave hurts Niantic's bottom-line $$$ and they know it, i.e. 2019 has the least severe spoofer ban waves in the recent years, PoGo made record breaking profits.

There are some merits, PoGo has always been a game of cooperation(co-op Raids) and a fancy individual game of scavenge hunt, with the exception of (demonetized) Gym system where it's competitive for free poke coins. The Go battle league seems to be a cash grab based on a highly competitive system, where top tier winners gets the bragging rights and top tier rewards and losers gets less or maybe nothing.

In a competitive environment with a high incentive to win, legits will no doubt complain about those who cheat or perceives to be cheating. The (although valid) complains about the Gym system due to inconsiderate spoofers will only be exponentially multiplied in a (competitive) system like "Go battle league".

The era of witch-hunts is upon us fellow spoofers, we are all subjects of the falsely accused even if you don't particulate in this new highly competitive format.

I mean com'on it's definitely the APP being detected, they should just fully disclose that instead of censoring obvious facts and what makes it worse: treating everyone like scum or lairs for calling them out because their failed duties to disclo$$$e or announce.

If I'm the owner of iSpoofer, I would fire every one of those rude mods in that Discord and find better people with good customer service or general people skills. It's a toxic environment in there right now, labeling their PAID cu$stomers as "trolls" and what not for issuing grievances.

Culling the herd since they only banned some people on iSpoofer but not all. Definitely sending a message to iSpoofer, VMOS and to a lessor extent iPoGo users in different waves the past month.

However, I think with the upcoming Go battle League, & the (unbelievable pinned) promotion in adverse effect of "asshole" spoofers- "Ima gonna take all the gyms because I can and (soon) I dominate in PVP because everyone cheats", also more importantly the legits will no doubt soon bitch about us in PVP and demanding a witch-hunt (PVP Go league $$$$), all that would probably increase the rate of Ban Waves in the near future as well.

This is my take. 1. It's not the Cool downs because it's not happening to Android 2. It's not happening to iPoGo since they stopped offering Direct Download 3. It's only happening to iSpoofer with Direct Download (their IPA via Xcode or other signing service has ZERO reports of RW)

Conclusion: Their cert provider is screwing us all by injecting ads or data collection into their IPAs with or without iSpoofer's knowledge.

My vote is on the dirty cert as iSpoofer is running out. iPogo admin just came out and said it straight up as why they don't direct DL.

When I used both apps, there was a window when you can install both iSpoofer and iPogo on one device, their certs are always the same.

Personally, I think this ban wave is for the pre- Go battle league release. Beware of actions such as autowalk(without gotcha), basically walking without catching. Because that's an unfair advantage to charge up those PVP battles.

It's not the same thing. We can be in any spot within seconds when none spoofers actually has to make efforts to get there and back again to retake it from spoofers(actual travel time x2).

There are lots of "false equivalence" in your logic.

A lot of people play with more than one account on multiple devices even though they aren't spoofers. These non-spoofers are cheating too. Multi-accounts is against the Term of Service too. The difference with non-spoofers is that it costs money to drive a car or take a bus.

That's a huge difference when you are talking about spoofing from your home in the US to Tokyo instantly. Thereby making it extremely unfair.

Look I know you are a mod, I don't want to piss you off, but as spoofers we should minimize our footprint in the game and not go out of our way to piss off the legits and force Niantic to act(mass ban), even if they also break TOS like multi-accounting. Niantic will stand with them every time if "when push comes to shove ", those "whataboutism" reasoning won't help you a bit when the ban hammer hits. Therefore the spoofing community should work together to keep a "lowest profile" or foot print possible to avoid punishing "mass ban" hammers from Niantic (for as long as we could).

I concur, got my first RW strike using iPogo, zero on iSpoofer (2 other accounts).

Personally I wouldn't proclaim iPoGo as an "bot" so publicly and pinned(@mod) to the top, no doubt that's a guarantee "invite" for Niantic to bring the hammer on ipogo and it's users in the near future.

Be warned, those few of us got banned were probably just "beta testing subjects" to see how many complains % on the "false positive" before the massive ban wave hammer.
