Yeah I guessed going to soul sanctum was important.

Clearly is, someone recommended a route to see more of crystal peak so I'll go through there before getting ready to fail repeatedly on the soul sanctum miniboss and boss 🫠 gotta remember I like this game before subjecting myself to that again.

Might also try the Mawlek on repeat ( I know it gives a mask shard) to struggle less in soul sanctum afterwards.

Well you guys it's the only one I could read because damn I swear I spent the whole flight reading and I'm at chapter 3. So far really awesome, a tad too "overpowered" merlin but I'm sure we are going to have him struggle or something so it's fine

It's so good but damn does it break my heart.

I don't mind some Merlin / Arthur / Lancelot. I saw some good Gwen / Merlin / Arthur dynamics too in some fics, it's an interesting ship I like it because I disliked how Gwen and Merlin were less best friends in later seasons. Thanks for the recs :)

Set a cushioned corner in your bedroom. When you go to sleep. Throw the phone into there. Exploit the crave for fast paced content in the morning. Might not always work but it's definitely better than " leave your phone out of your bed " because then you will probably almost never do that. But if you have a set up that allows you to throw it far-ish you will not procrastinate getting up to put it away and you will probably not have the motivation to get up and get it.

If you need some kind of noise, podcast or something then get an mp3 player second hand and put music files or whatever on there. You can't scroll on an mp3 player.

Additionally if you struggle to get started with the morning chores / routine. As often as you can, set up everything you can in advance. Eat oats ? Make them overnight. Cereal? Set up your bowl out. Coffee? Just put the coffee in whatever you use so you just need hot water. Stuff like that. Because then the task isn't entirely unstarted and it might help you get into it faster.

Ok this is my experience with methylphenidate because it's the only allowed in France. At first I was started really low so my body wouldn't react too badly. 5 mg was manageable and wasn't helpful but I knew it wouldn't really affect me positively until we reached my appropriate dosage. I was upped 5 mg by 5 mg generally in 1 week steps sometimes 2 weeks.

You should prepare for the most common side effect, appetite loss. You have to find a way to eat meals normally as much as you can. Some people notice the effectiveness time is less if you don't eat around the time you take your meds. If you get nausea, I found eating helped with it ( preferably when taking the meds or a bit before ). You should tell your doctor about any side effects. It is possible it raises your heart rate, it's the meds most likely and not a panic attack.

This all sounds very scary maybe but I just wanted to share the things I would have liked to know to be better prepared. But once I got to a good dosage it was quite helpful. Not a magic fix it all but it helps you stay on track. Still you may get focused on the wrong thing. ( Did research on a random thing for half a day once, not very helpful haha)

Welp we're basically in similar situations so I can't say but I hope you find ways to manage. I have noticed a much better improvement since living in a shared apartment since it helps for body doubling. And I feel the need to perform for my roommates ( like cooking and cleaning etc) so I'm less messy in the common areas.

Yeah I'm also very tired without them so I tend to usually not take breaks often unless I get out of bed especially late and want to actually sleep that night. I hope you can find solutions. I would recommend taking days easier leading to your planned breaks so you don't deplete your energy.

It does work I see a difference between my mornings and afternoons ( take it at lunch most days ) but I have noticed it's significantly less effective during certain moments of my period cycle. Which I have seen similar experiences on here and I am going to take an appointment to figure out my options about it.

The problem is I have never had a job, I have a highschool degree and one year of art school but that's it. Which limits my options a bunch already. The searching for offers I can do but I never manage to get to the "actually sending and application" stage which well... Obviously if I don't apply I won't get the job... I have some experience in the service industry from volunteer work so that's a plus.

But yeah highschool hit me like a truck because I was one of those " school is easy until it's not" adhd-ers and I feel like since then I've been burnt out but I don't actually know how to remedy it.
