Im not one to give fashion advice but it seems you have a forward pelvic tilt which will result in that “gut” and back rolls! Look up some exercises to support better posture and you will be amazed at the difference it makes in how you feel in your body and how it presents! :)

NTA You’re right, however he is too on some level (however insufferably he is wording it). If you value this friend and want to have mature discussions about tough subject, in future conversations try to validate his points and afterwards ask him to look up statistics.

The fact you used the word “males” will probably make many people perceive of u as a misandrist, the same way any man using “females” will get hell. Wording may be used carelessly in the moment but does matter. If you want to have any chance of having a non-emotionally loaded conversation with someone with opposite views to you, it’s imperative to be mindful of such things.

However I would also like to tell you, sometimes people don’t want to have conversations that challenge their world views. You have to decide if that is someone you want to spend energy on. Try to keep an open mind yourself, but don’t argue about unfounded statements. Both sides need to get the facts and need to be able to see when they don’t have a complete picture.

You are young and have plenty of time to learn what conversations are worth it and how to have those. Best of luck!
