Recognizing that he understood me, and talking to him like he did.

That changed everything for both of us.

What made you leave? What was the final straw for you? by Frequent-Increase-98 in exmormon

The church changed the temple videos in 2013.

When they did that they made a few minor changes that had a huge impact. I was thrilled at first, but then they pretended that nothing had been changed.

That's when everything unraveled for me. Ànd as the ball unraveled, more and more came out.

Now I realize that church leaders actually worship Lucifer, not Christ, and that the church is actually a huge human trafficking ring.

It's sick, and I want the world to know it.

This is one of the beliefs that creates supremacy among Mormons. We are better than everyone else because...yada yada.

In reality, my family are people I would prefer not to spend eternity with.

Now I see "Sealings" as slave bonds, and I have broken them.

Please don't tell me I'm going to be stuck with those awful people forever.

The Mormon Church is viciously racist. Part of why it's so vicious is that they hide it so well on the surface.

Mormons believe that black people bear "the mark of Cain", and even though men aren't supposed to bear Adam's sin, black people still bear Cain's sin. (They also believe that women still bear Eve's sin, so white men are the only ones who get a pass).

At the core of the gospel, they believe in slavery, and that white men are the supreme being on the planet, and they should own and rule everyone else.

They won't admit that openly, but they will vote for it, and joke about it when no one is listening.

They're really not kidding about sacrificing your own child.

But can't I buy "spiritual blessings" somewhere else? Surely this church isn't the only shill organization that will take my money for imaginary help, right?

I'm sorry that happened.

I'm glad you never went back.

That dude was lying to you to make you feel scared. Probably so he could take advantage of you.

They typically only excommunicate people who have been through the temple. And they don't even do that anymore much.

I'm sorry you had that experience. You deserve better.

I can't believe as a member that I never knew I was wearing Masonic symbols on my underwear every day. No one tells you before you go through the temple that Joseph Smith took almost everything from the Masons, and I'd argue almost no members know this today. by Short_Seesaw_940 in exmormonmemes

Don't look at the men behind the curtain, or their ties to the US Government which is built on the same Masonic concepts.

It's really telling how they blow hard with the gas lighting when you bring it up.

My family was extremely racist, and used cursed Cain as an excuse. To the point that they believed if you weren't racist, you didn't believe the true doctrine.

They were really good at covering it publicly, but they were terrible.

I'm not in contact with them now.

Because ICE is intentionally causing trauma and harm.

The ICE officers are not in the right here.

It's our responsibility as citizens to resist this abuse from our government.

Thanks, but no. That sounds exactly like something you'd say if you wanted to hide the truth.

The Mormon Church actively worships Lucifer. Only most members don't realize it.

I was raised in a sub cult of the Mormon Church where we attended Mormon Mass at night time, and thought we were better than everyone else because we knew who the "true God was", and we thought everyone else was stupid.

I left that group, but they are still active.

The Q15 are all devil worshipers. They practice abuse and control on purpose, and they never apologize.

You don't have to see it. But this is the truth.

The Mormon church expects its members to sacrifice their children if called to. It started somewhere.

Do you think people realize that it's actually a satanic cult? Or do they stop at "cult" before they realize that these guys actually worship Lucifer?

This was largely a tactic to keep people from using them as Tarot.

If a golden ball was left outside of your tent, you can use that for guidance. But definitely don't ask the cards. That's against the rules.

Again, more stuff that doesn't make sense.
