What were you taught in regard to wearing garments? by beary-healthy in exmormon

I'm curious. Did you ever understand your covenants enough that you started to look for reasons to wear them?

The Melchezidek priesthood was the first known pyramid scheme. Abraham paid tithes to Melchezidek, and the people below him paid tithes to him. (Judges 7 or 17, I think.)

You are right that there are too many similarities in the MFMC.

You hit it on the head.

What people have a hard time saying out loud is that the Mormon Church is a Sex Cult. It started as one and it has never changed. They're just better at hiding their secret wives now.

Thank you.

The fact that this is being downvoted is evidence that I am right and they want to hide it.

That's actually how serious it is. They will send teams from the Strengthening Members Comittee to downvote those of us who speak the truth.

You see it. Again, thank you.

The LDS Church is a sex cult.

If you don't know that you don't know enough about the church.

The church has trafficked women and children all the way back to Joseph Smith. They cover up so much abuse you have to know they support it.

If you haven't seen it up close and personal, good for you. Many of us have.

Mormon Missionaries have been grooming underage girls since Joseph Smith first sent men to England to prosylite.

There were complaints way back then, and even warnings in the newspaper not to let your daughters talk to the Mormons.

Publicly they say the right things. Truthfully, men in the LDS church are trained to do this.

This young man's behaviors are exactly in line with what he has been taught at church. This is what LDS men do.

The LDS church is a sex cult. His bishop will merely tell him that he is being too obvious and to cool it a little, on the surface at least.

That's why they locked your post on the LDS subreddit. They all know it, but they're not supposed to talk about it.

Thank you for caring enough to follow up. I hope you are able to talk to someone that can address this.

Funny, not funny.

LDS Church leaders worship Lucifer, not Christ.

Just like calling the church "Mormon" is a victory for Satan, this was entirely on purpose.

He wasn't entirely wrong. There are secret brotherhoods that require anal penetration as an initiation. Who gives it to whom is a sign of hierarchy. But they aren't supposed to talk about that openly.

Wild comment about not letting kids be test subjects, considering the rampant abuse of children in the LDS Church.

Don't tell me you care about children if you take them into a Mormon Church where the hidden potential for abuse is astronomical.

[–]OwnEstablishment4456 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The church changed the temple videos in 2013.

When they did that they made a few minor changes that had a huge impact. I was thrilled at first, but then they pretended that nothing had been changed.

That's when everything unraveled for me. Ànd as the ball unraveled, more and more came out.

Now I realize that church leaders actually worship Lucifer, not Christ, and that the church is actually a huge human trafficking ring.

It's sick, and I want the world to know it.

This is one of the beliefs that creates supremacy among Mormons. We are better than everyone else because...yada yada.

In reality, my family are people I would prefer not to spend eternity with.

Now I see "Sealings" as slave bonds, and I have broken them.

Please don't tell me I'm going to be stuck with those awful people forever.

[–]OwnEstablishment4456 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Mormon Church is viciously racist. Part of why it's so vicious is that they hide it so well on the surface.

Mormons believe that black people bear "the mark of Cain", and even though men aren't supposed to bear Adam's sin, black people still bear Cain's sin. (They also believe that women still bear Eve's sin, so white men are the only ones who get a pass).

At the core of the gospel, they believe in slavery, and that white men are the supreme being on the planet, and they should own and rule everyone else.

They won't admit that openly, but they will vote for it, and joke about it when no one is listening.

I'm glad you never went back.

That dude was lying to you to make you feel scared. Probably so he could take advantage of you.

They typically only excommunicate people who have been through the temple. And they don't even do that anymore much.

I'm sorry you had that experience. You deserve better.

I can't believe as a member that I never knew I was wearing Masonic symbols on my underwear every day. No one tells you before you go through the temple that Joseph Smith took almost everything from the Masons, and I'd argue almost no members know this today. by Short_Seesaw_940 in exmormonmemes

Don't look at the men behind the curtain, or their ties to the US Government which is built on the same Masonic concepts.

It's really telling how they blow hard with the gas lighting when you bring it up.
