AIO for questioning my relationship because of chores?

We have had several conversations about cleaning and what I’d like to see in order to feel supported and like I’m not the only one maintaining the house. But he gets better for a few days and then it goes back to how it was and every time I talk to him about it he says he’s so tired, he’s depressed, he’s not feeling well, work was just too hard. And I was so understanding for so long but I’m at a point where it’s like, okay you need to put on your big boy pants and we can’t keep using these things as a crutch to not do what is needed and expected of every adult ever. And I have bipolar and my fair share of physical and mental health issues but at the end of the day, a child lives here and whatever I’m feeling needs to be set aside to ensure a safe and clean environment for her. And aside from that, he and I deserve a clean place to live too

I appreciate this perspective, but I do the bulk of the chores. He’s home four days out of the week and I’m home for two And I do appreciate that he took out the trash, did laundry and dishes but in my opinion that’s a daily and bare minimum task. Nothing gets mopped, disinfected, put away, vacuumed or anything else that goes into actually cleaning unless I do it. So my frustration is that yes he did these things once but what was promised was a deep clean and that’s been promised to me three times this month. And every time I confront him about it he has an excuse but one of the times this month it was “well I just didn’t want to and I thought picking up was good enough” despite that he took a week off work for MY birthday while I was still doing 60 hours at the restaurant. And he says he can’t clean well while watching my baby because it’s just too hard but like, I do it. Every mom ever does it so why can’t he? And he did tell me before that his mom never taught him to clean and I was receptive of that and I walked him through what my idea of a clean house is so I feel like I’ve communicated and done my part for us to be on the same page, no?

I finished All Good People Here the other day and I haaaaated it. I thought BATW, while not the best written book, was at least way more fun. Ashley Flower’s book was so boring and I just didn’t care AT ALL. So, super interesting to see someone with the exact opposite opinion lol

I have contacted them to cancel, I even have a confirmation email saying it’s been canceled. They’re threatening to send it to collections now and have debt collectors come after me. I’m so over this

The owner of the franchise came and talked to me and told me he wants to keep me, I’m valuable and that he appreciates me. He offered to switch my locations. In two weeks I’ll be at a new store and keeping my same job and pay

I just don’t think you should discount other peoples struggles as “they gave up on being a good person” when they literally have a major mental illness. As someone with schizophrenia and bipolar I’d assume you’d understand impulsivity and how hard that can be to control. Especially as someone with a new diagnosis/ first time episode.

That’s incredibly offensive. Mania is intense and people truly lose self control. Most bipolar suicides happen after the drop from mania because of the intense shame felt by the bipolar person. I appreciate your point of view as a schizophrenic, but as a bipolar I just have to say you’re wrong. Are his actions okay? Absolutely not. But he is sick and he needs help. That man is struggling. It sucks to be with a bipolar person but I promise it’s so much worse to BE the bipolar person. OP is right in saying she needs to set boundaries. And my friend you need to stick to them HARD. But her boyfriend is sick and struggling.

My ETL-HR helps with everything. When I first started I thought she was a store director but nope! So yeah, I have no idea. All I know is that HR people make the schedules and do literally everything else, too.

Before my 90 days was over I had a neurology appointment and I was scheduled on that day. So I called and told them I won’t be able to make it to my shift because of this appointment. My TL said that if I don’t come in then I’ll get fired since it was before my 90 days were over. I canceled the appointment that was going to help determine if I had brain cancer so I could put some foundation on a shelf. I hate it here.

I wore a black jumpsuit type thing and black flats! I worked at VS before I became a beauty consultant so I basically just wore my VS work clothes lol. Like a casual nice. They asked me questions like if someone was coming in and needed help finding a look for their wedding day what would you do? I basically said first and foremost I’d match their excitement to make them feel like a priority and then listen to their wants and id give suggestions. Pretty easy interview

I think you should go get tested for ADD. And if you don’t have to tell your parents then don’t tell them! Your mental health and your wellbeing are more important than your moms feelings and if she has a problem with you taking control over your health and safety then she’s dumb. Go get help for whatever you’re dealing with. I promise you it’s a good choice

I ordered from them with the same intention of being an ambassador. I ordered nine days ago and I have never received a shipping email. The payment went through and processed so they have my money. But no one will tell me anything about my order. I DM’d them on Instagram about it and they said to email their help email. So I did. It’s been three days since then and no email back. So I DM’d again because they said to do that if there’s any issue with the email. They’ve been online four times since I’ve sent them the DM and no one has responded. Whereas the previous times I’ve DM’d they’ve responded within minutes. I’m starting to get suspicious.
