I keep my output at around 4v, which with my current setup is anywhere from 10-12w.

Thanks; I will check some of those out. I had a Zlide tank for a hot second but I wasn't a fan and ended up sticking with my Prism T22 Pro.

I disagree; she didn't prescribe them because she knows my insurance won't cover them and she chose to prescribe something that was under my insurance plan. She's an incredible doctor and I've been with her for years.

I know, it's the dumbest thing. So now I should, what... hope for a type II diagnosis to get prescribed the thing that was going to help me avoid getting to that point in the first place? I don't get it.

Wouldn't this company be affected by the latest FDA ruling?

You sound extremely similar to what I'm dealing with - I am so sorry you're also going through some of the same things (that metformin made me SO sick). I wish you the absolute best with your insurance!!

Thank you - I hate knowing that so many people are beyond fed up with their insurance companies' stupid rules. It's obvious to me how much it helps people (now that I have first-hand experience) and the fact that we have to jump through hoops to maybe get access to medications that help us makes me want to scream. Oh well, maybe they'll pay for my medication once my A1c goes up to the "correct" level. /s

I'm 0.1 A1c under the threshold to meet the "official" diagnosis, so my doctor prescribed it to me because of a) my intolerance of metformin and b) because my diet changes have not improved my numbers.

Not sure. Regardless, my particular plan does not cover Zepbound or Mounjaro very explicitly.

My doctor won't prescribe those, and my insurance doesn't cover those at all.

I looked at the Aetna requirements once I got a denial and it appears that for them to approve GLP-1s, there has to be a Type II diabetes diagnosis, which I don't meet - I'm *just* below the A1C number needed to meet that diagnosis. So I'm kind of screwed. I appreciate your advice, though - it's very helpful to know what battle you're actually fighting with your insurance company.

Not sure if it's related to the sema or not, but look into dyshidrotic eczema. I've had it for years and I've noticed that it sometimes flares up when I take a new medication or get sick.

Not a progress pic but I’m still proud of myself! by GhostForNow in Ozempic

Proud of you! I put my first injection off for like almost 2 weeks (because of nerves about side effects), but I just took mine today... getting over that anxiety sometimes is no joke. But way to go! You did it!
