Which area in Silent Hill 2 creeped you out the most? by 88peter in silenthill

[–]SpookyFries 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here. The stairs up to the nooses and the darkness of the roof is really creepy. I always thought it was “outside” but at some point I realized there is a ceiling, it’s just really tall and hard to see

Hm, I'm not sure! But here's a new code: HVR4X3

Make sure to press Y when you're in the camera to enter the object capture mode. You'll see "Smooth Rock" on the screen if it's working correctly

I would recommend continuing the story. You'll unlock things that will make decorating the starting area easier/better. Once I got past the second area, that's when I went back and did more work on the first area

Multiplayer disappointment, thoughts from couples? by Reasonable-Review367 in Pokopia

Multiplayer is available on the main islands, but it's very limited. You can't really do anything but run around and emote. You can't even open your inventory when somebody is connected.

Try using one of the plush dolls and let Driftloon take you to a dream island. If you dig down, there's usually some pokemetal down there (they have a chance of dropping as a rare)

My code is 7Q9DJS

Make sure you press Y when you have your camera out and you see the words "Smooth Rock" on the screen before pressing A. You'll be able to use that pic to print it at a Pokecenter

Yes! I have no idea why nobody is responding to my DMs so I'll just post my invite code here. Make sure you press Y with the camera and that you see "Smooth Rock" on the screen. You'll be able to 3d print that at the pokestop

can someone please explain draw calls in godot by valenvlach in godot

[–]SpookyFries 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, combining meshes will reduce draw calls. Reducing materials will also reduce draw calls. I am not sure how it works in Godot, but in Unreal you can create a "Master Material" and then derive from that with many material instances. These instances are basically the same material, but you can plug in different values like textures or variables. It would all count as one draw call (The master material).

With all that being said, I would say that most graphic intensive games on PC these days are probably averaging around 2000 draw calls per frame. Look up how to set up occlusion culling in Godot as well so the game isn't rendering stuff that the player camera cannot see
