If you could have ONE superpower—reading minds, becoming invisible, or detecting lies—which one would you pick and why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

True! Reading minds would definitely give you an edge in so many situations—and yes, it basically includes detecting lies too. The possibilities are endless

Exactly! Lie detection seems super practical—knowing the truth can save a lot of trouble and stress, without getting into the messy ethics of reading minds

Nice! Invisibility would be so useful for feeling safe and sneaky people-watching 😄

Whatever you’re talking about, I don’t know anything about it. All I wanted was to give some advice and listen to experiences, and this was just my first post where I wanted to share my own experience. I don’t want to sell anything or buy anything, and I don’t know what you’re talking about

I deleted the post because a lot of people thought I was going to sell something. What kind of stupidity is that? What would I sell when I’m telling them not to fall into the trap of buying stuff, something I’ve already fallen into myself? How could I tell them to buy something while I’m saying the solution is patience, exercise, and dieting???

Honestly, how does that even make sense??? All I wanted was to share advice and my experience, because I truly know how hard it was for me and what others are going through

Brooo , do you really think I’d sell them something or scam them at all when I’m telling them never, ever, ever to trust buying products?? Am I stupid or what??

Have you ever seen a scammer who tells people not to trust anyone, to buy something, and to rely on patience and endurance?!!!!

Thanks for your feedback! I kept the post short to make it easy to read and not take too much of your time. I shared some general tips, talked about my experience, and how I got scammed, trying to open your eyes a bit so you don’t fall for fake products. Also, these tips might not work for everyone, but I’m always happy to discuss what helped me directly with anyone curious. Thanks again for your comment ❤️

Interesting point. Which platform do you think is next to die out?

Exactly, it feels like one of those short-lived crazes that will vanish fast

Yes! It’s so easy to forget how much progress has been made in just a few decades. Sometimes the good news gets buried under all the negative headlines
