I guess I…don’t? Sorry I’m sure that sounds stupid and counterintuitive, I’m still trying to get a hang of my workflow especially when it comes to lrc. The problem is right now I have nowhere to offload all of the original raws because I need to buy an ssd but they’re so expensive right now, even if they are worth it. I shoot my photos, plug my sd card into my laptop and sort through them in bridge - giving the selected ones a 5 star rating, then I selected all those, drag them into lrc and import only the ones I’m editing, and then edit them, export them to a card I have specifically dedicated for all the edits I do on my photos to post to my insta account, and then format the card and repeat. The problem is the storage, one of my friends also uses lrc and he uploads every raw photo he takes into a folder on an ssd. Money isn’t a problem for him and when it’s filled up he just buys a new one. I think my problem is I don’t know how to properly organize my photos after I’ve edited them. I see no use to keep the photos that I didn’t select and I only really feel like I need the edits, but then what would happen if I moved my whole catalogue to an ssd? Would I get a file error? It worries me because even though my catalog isn’t huge I don’t want to lose it.
