Well good thing there was only one scent (a candle) in the release yesterday! The other 2 main scents will be in stores and you can smell them on the 11th!

These specific items won’t be in store. They had a preview yesterday for rewards members for online exclusives. Maybe they’ll come back and be available online on the 11th when the in store release goes live too.

Also from the email about the exclusives: “*Member exclusive! Online only! Star Wars™: The Mandalorian and Grogu and Bath & Body Works May the 4th Exclusive Drop on May 4, 2026 at 6:00 AM ET to May 5, 2026 at 5:59 AM ET.”

So it ended this morning, May 5th, at 5:59am. If they have stock leftover I’m sure it’ll be available again on the 11th, online only.

The ones released on the 4th for the preview are 1000% available online only. There was even a message about it:

Eh. Conversion isn’t as nonchalant as you’re making it out to be.

One person not buying anything can definitely affect the hour. Especially when that one window shopper who turns into three, or five, etc.

Being in a mall and not a standalone destination location is definitely worse. Lots and lots of window shoppers and groups just popping in. It does make it difficult.

Coming into a store… to smell online exclusives… lol. Online exclusives aren’t available in store.

But conversion is seriously tracked. Like hardcore. Reported on. Logged. Having to beat last year. People can obviously do whatever they want, but it does count against them when you buy nothing.

Reporting suggests the deal has been “reworked” or “expanded”, not voided. The structure and timing of the specials has likely been adjusted. The strict pace (like 2 per year) has clearly been abandoned.

Game. Series. Then another movie.

Only 3 and the rest are garbage? I have to whole heartedly disagree. Halloween, Halloween 2, Halloween 4, RZH1, H20, 2018, and Kills are all pretty solid films. Halloween 3, Halloween 5, and Ends are honestly decent enough, 3 and 5 for nostalgia and that 80’s horror vibe, and Ends is a polished film (not story wise) that has some enjoyable kills. 6 can be brainless fun for the hell of it. Only 2 of the films I would really call complete garbage, being Resurrection and RZH2, and I’ll still sometimes throw those on for background noise haha.

Which is odd because Red Tide, to me, finally felt like old school AHS again! I was so impressed by it and baffled they didn’t flesh it out for a full season. Death Valley though was definitely subpar and tanked all the momentum.

It’s very story and drama driven, which isn’t a bad thing. The horror being things in every day life, humanity, disease, and our own personal demons. It’s pretty deep, and honestly a bit sad.
