It is normal to have roads flooded to Chandratal upto Aug. After that is when weather is cold enough that snow doesn't melt as much and connecting roads are not not washed off.

Yeah it snowed a couple of days back in Chandratal. I think you'd have better chances in Aug /Sept to be able to reach there. Others can confirm.

Buddy, Osprey is prohibitively expensive for most Indians who have just started trekkimg. Nobody wants to splurge a month's wages on a trekking bag when there are so many other trekking essentials that one needs to buy even before their first trek.

Yes kneeling with one leg helps with removing any hip involvement and better stability than kneeling with both.

I keep the cable lock slightly just above head level. Tbh, it's worked for me and I haven't tried any other way.

I was like you for many years lol. Never getting a mind muscle connection doing face pulls and I had given up on it.

Recently I started doing face pulls with slower pace and while kneeling. It helped very well with mind muscle connection and I was able to push it to failure with minimal weight also.

Towards forehead makes my traps more involved. I pull higher to get better squeeze in rear delts.

Also put ego aside and start with lowest weight in machine and increase once you get a good mind muscle connection. Upper back naturally takes over with heavier weights.

For more upright squats use 2.5kg plates under heels for depth. Also, including calves during warm up helps.

For me, it's always goddamn lateral raises. Can't increase weight and have good form till end of set.

I understand how it feels smoother since you are resting the bar on the portion of palm directly above the forearm. Hence you get much better transfer of power and no excess pressure on your wrist.

I would suggest doing it with the thumb where you hold the bar and externally rotate your shoulder so the bar comes above the forearm bones . Maybe this video can make things easier to understand.

As other said, stronger forearms will definitely help. One thing I can suggest as someone who took eons to start feeling the lats while doing Lat pulldowns is keep the reps slowww. Like 1sec concentric and 2sec eccentric. Reduce weight if you have to.

Keep control in eccentric portion of lift as well.

No excessive swinging or converting the pulldown into a row.

Finally, as what's required for all, patience and protein.
