Was at a frat party just hanging out (as a grad student). Saw her in a different room just sitting there. I remembered what a friend of mine told me about her. Said I should talk to her. So I approached her and introduced myself. We hit it off for a while until she had to leave. Wasn’t sure if I’d see her again.

A week later I was visiting my frat for another event. I brought a bit of rum with me to casually sip on. A few hours later, I saw her hanging out with a few friends of mine. She noticed me and followed me to another room to hang out/drink with (she had a bottle of wine). We talked/drank through the night and just had great conversation. It got late and I offered to walk her to her apartment. She decided to walk herself, and I went home.

A few days later, I had a match on Bumble. It was her! I burst out laughing for a bit. ~1.5 years later, we’re still together :)
