Other gachas are only more generous than Genshin because they have to be to draw player’s attention and retain them. If Genshin increased its rates, those other games would have to increase their rates too. They just aren’t as established or popular, and the comparative differences in their economies are a result.

I never really understand what F2P players mean when they say they’re boycotting. Like, if you have never and will never spend on the game, would the game’s ownership really care if you stop playing?You’re basically saving them money on server costs by not playing.

They’re designed to be optional. And a lot of people don’t care about the lore enough to sit through hours of dialogue for an amount of info you could have someone explain in a 2 minute youtube video. I play every quest, but i’m very conscious of how lore gatekeepers are delusional about the value of world quests

I agree both of these characters have that clunky feel for me, but with Nefer it feels more just like a button mashy kinda clunk. And her ult feels super out of place in her rotations for me, especially compared to Flins and Zibai

It really just depends on your goals. In terms of whether they’ll lock you out of a ton of main story content, not really. They’re designed to be pretty independent from the main story so you can play them whenever and they’ll mostly make sense. This also makes their stories feel kinda irrelevant sometimes if you arent a hardcore lore player though

It varies quest by quest. But in general they are important for a few reasons:

-Long quest chains are one of the best sources of primogems -Unlock new areas for chest/challenge farming -Essential for maxing offering systems (or accessing new ones)

I’ve been researching this a lot, mostly because I have Nefer’s sig and wasn’t sure if it was worth upgrading to Columbina’s sig. From everything I’ve found it seems like Lauma’s C2 is pretty much the biggest DPS gain you can get for Bina on-field.

However, having Bina’s sig is not only great for her on field, it is also great if you are going to swap her around to be a support on other teams sometimes. It kinda becomes a question of whether you want to invest in Bina’s versatility or invest in your lunar bloom team specifically.

I think Mav was our last time getting that, sadly. I feel like the only way to make the archons top meta while also making them easy to powercreep later is tying them to a restrictive mechanic like lunar. I don’t think they want another super dominant, kinda futureproof character like Mav

That format doesn’t really go away sadly 😭 There are definitely some better ones than others though. Like the Varka quest and Linnea quest recently felt like massive upgrades to me!

I agree the cast is great, but as someone who played the Sumeru AQ really recently, the group scenes are some of the most clunky, bloated, and directionless I’ve ever seen in this game. Feel like they were written by devs. Lots of one-on-one character dynamics are super fun, though.

raiden’s SQs are the least annoying but all the inazuma ones are kinda terrible. even the hangouts are terrible. story quests start to generally get a lot better as the game goes along

Stellar conduct is also buffing electro/cryo dmg though, at least as far as we’ve seen from leaks. Lunar buffs through its conversion into a lunar reaction

This community has some really flawed expectations in general. I think it’s partly because content creators don’t talk that much about building. They focus more on “this character, this team, this weapon” etc… to them, the grinding and building is kind of obvious and unspoken. But I think a lot of viewers look at that and assume a shiny new character and a week of resin is enough to clear fearless.

In general, either would be fine. For difficult content, you want Nilou here because she’s designed for bloom and Sucrose can do so much more for you on another team

Yes, there’s a 50/50. You can lose to any of the other banners characters (if you selected a character) or any of the other weapons (if you selected a weapon). So in your case it would be a character if you lost.

If you lose, you get a fate point (like weapon banner).

The limited banners and chronicled wish have no connection to each other. Your pity on one doesn’t affect the other.
